Fleur Enser

Fleur Enser

Fleur Enser originally trained in Fashion and Textile Design. She has always enjoyed the challenge of creating something aesthetically pleasing, be it clothing, an illustration, an interiors scheme or a useful object.

Fleur now has her own pottery workshop and works in both Earthenware and Stoneware. Her practice has evolved, over the years, and she now works exclusively in monochrome, using slip and under-glaze decoration. Her mark making has become more and more spontaneous and abstract.

She creates useful tableware for family meals with sharing platters and dippy bowls. Her statement pieces are more likely to be Stoneware and include vases, vessels and larger dishes.

Fleur’s work can be seen in Mint Velvet, Upper High Street, from 10 – 16 October
